The Helsinki market, set in the shadow of the President’s palace, offers a multitude of fresh products, including fresh Baltic fish and the world-famous ‘neulamuikku’.

IESAF - or International English Speakers' Association of Finland - is an established part of the community, which prides itself on being open and available to everyone.
As well as excursions, restaurant visits, picnics, sports outings and various beer-related activities, we also organise a number of family outings, charity events and play dates for those with children.
On the first Wednesday of every month we host our famous Pub Quiz in Molly Malone's Irish Bar, which regularly attracts over 100 people. There are always a number of fantastic prizes up for grabs, with Finns and ex-pats alike using the evening to make new acquaintances and catch up with old friends - as well as taking the chance to pit their wits against the finest minds Finland's capital has to offer!
Membership is completely free of charge and comes with a wealth of benefits. Using your IESAF card will allow you discounts at a number of restaurants, shops and many other organisations in Helsinki and beyond. To apply, simply leave your details in the membership section and we will contact you as soon as possible.
Please check back regularly, as there is always something new happening and members often use the website to promote their own events, ask for advice and to organise events and meetings.
