The purpose of the processing of the personal data is the legal obligation to keep a membership list according to the Associations' Act, as well as maintaining and updating the payment of membership fees as well as contact information of members.

The group registered are the approved members of the International English Speakers' Association of Finland ry. The information submitted to the registry are data pertaining to the requirements of the Associations Act and information required for communication and the daily running of the association e.g. full name, address, residence, email address and information of paid dues.

The register has been recorded  into a database to which the entrance has been restricted only to the registrar's representative.

The regular sources of information to the registry consist of the data submitted by the members themselves and the  transaction data from the bank when membership fees are processed.
